Please Visit World Heritage Mangrove Forest and raise your hand against Rampal coal power plants beside Sundarban

Bangladesh is a small country in South Asia. Although it is a small country of size, it has many tourist sites such as Sundarban -the largest mangrove forest in the world; Cox Bazaar-The largest uninterrupted sand beach in the world; Acata-a single seaside in South Asia from where you can enjoy sunsets and sunrise; many mosques, temples, more and more beautiful and historic natural places.

Now we go back to Sundarban. UNESCO recognizes the World Heritage site in 1997. We can believe that Sundarban is another world where all kinds of wildlife and unknown species live. If you visit this place, you can see their dynamic lifestyle. It covers an area of 5770 km of land and water at Sundarban.

Sundarban is the largest region of the world's continuous mangroves, covering about 10 000 square kilometers of land and water in the Ganges Delta, where there are about 62 percent (6 017 square kilometers) in Bangladesh and the remainder in the Indian state of West Bengal. The Sundarban plays an important role in the economy of the southwestern region of Bangladesh and the national economy. Forests also have enormous protectionist and productive functions. In Bangladesh, 51 per cent of all forest areas are reserved and contribute about 41 percent of total forest revenues and represent approximately 45 percent of all wood and fuel products in the country. About 4.01% of the total area of Bangladesh, which belonged to Sundarban and 39.5% of all forests, played an important role in protecting the country's environmental catastrophe. Rapid climate change is also a threat to the existence of Sandarban. We can see that about 3 people live, and also more than 10 people indirectly depend on this jungle.

After the attack by Sidr and Eilla Sundarban, the government prevented permission to get a boat pass for a year to restore the previous photo and forced most of the community to leave its profession and came to town or city in search of a job to support his family in addition, many of them were unemployed or in a miserable condition. As a result, about 48% of people are now close to the Sundarban living under the "upper poverty line" according to the Bangladesh Statistical Office (BBS). In addition, the inhabitants of this region live in physically weak conditions. The area is prone to hurricanes, seasonal and low, where there are many colonies with streams and the coast.

The different communities depend entirely on regulated areas such as collector plans, honey collectors, hunters, and wood of choice, the woodcutter etc are the collector plan-150 000, the Honey collector-8000, Carpenter (boat repairer)-2000, Carpenter (wood selector)-1000, Carpenter (supported by Sundarban) 15 000, hunters including various works-it is said that most professionals are faced with problems after the attack against the Commission and they do Continue their activities as a result, they are unemployed. After the attack of these two mighty natural bodies, Ali Sundarban, fragile conditions have become more precarious than in the past, and about a quarter of the world Heritage sites have been damaged. The researchers said that mangrove forests will take at least 40 years to recover from the disaster.

When you first enter the forest, you can see the same trees more and more. These trees are called "Sundori". From that word, the name "Sundarban" came. Without Sundori, there is also abundant in the prominent geographical areas, Goran and Muratova, throughout the region. In this place there is a big tower.
